We recently had the pleasure of hosting the Alcohol and Gaming Corporation of Ontario (AGCO) team for a lovely and informative educational session Q&A in the Tamm Public studio. Hosting our client partners for a few hours and then visiting them on their turf is a great way to experience how the other half lives and deepen partnerships and mutual appreciation for our unique and specialized environments.
Allowing our client partners a trip through the looking glass to let them see first hand how we manage their advertising after they hit ‘send’ is an efficient, valuable, and frankly fun way to compare and improve our processes and help streamline the workflow.
Deby, who heads up the AGCO account, gave them a tour of the agency, introducing them to the whole Tamm + Kit team and then settled in to demonstrate our process live. This and our exchange visit to the AGCO offices offered both groups critical insights into the pressures, deadlines, and cultures of each organization and overturned several key process refinements and, perhaps most importantly, a renewed appreciation for the clarity afforded by this kind of hands-on partnership.
It’s gratifying for each of us to exchange a little one-on-one banter and to finally be able to match a name with a smile. The rest of the Tamm Public studio team who work on other entities within the larger provincial government account, were able to describe a little of what they do and how they do it, and I think the AGCO group really appreciated the understanding of how they fit in to the big picture as well as hearing how other Ontario groups interact with our studio.
I hope we’ve started a trend here. From the tone of the remarks on their totally awesome thank-you card, it won’t be too long until we meet again!
